Home Wireless Network: Configuring a home wireless network

Configuring a home wireless network can easily be done via software that is normally installed on the router. On most routers a web based interface to the core functions of the router is installed, which can be easily accessed by a web browser. Once the administrator has logged on he/she can change settings and make modifications as required. After these changes have been made they must be saved and in some cases the router will have to be rebooted. Normally there is an option for this in the router software. Some users may have to have their computer settings changed in order to communicate across the wireless network. This is usually done through the installed wireless adaptor software or the operating system.
