Home Wireless Network: Home wireless network router

A home wireless network router is a device that acts a central communications hub. Basically a router routes information, i.e. it transmits information that it receives from a source to the correct target. All computers on the network should be connected to the router in order to be able to communicate with each other. Wireless routers eliminate the need for any cabling by sending and receiving radio signals through the air. Many modern routers have built in modems for easy Internet access. Some also have built in firewalls for extra security and other advanced features. Some routers also have built in USB ports, so users can share printers from central location.
